  We had Kelsey and his crew from Pacific Group replace our drains and pour concrete ground seal on our crawlspace floor on our 1959 Rancher after our crawlspace flooded the previous winter. Our drains were completely shot. Kelsey explained our options and we put in a double drain system to take both roof water and perimeter water away from our house to municipal pipes. Recently the watermain outside our yard broke. Several homes flooded. Our yard was wet, our house and crawlspace dry. Professionally, Kelsey and his crew are top notch, sincere, curteous, hard working and do what they agree to without skimping. We were very pleased and would not hesitate to recommend them and I can’t say that about a lot of people/companies we’ve used.

We would like to pass on our sincerest appreciation for the crew of Pacific Group Developments. Kelsey and his crew worked diligently to complete a job we hired him to do and do they did, right to our satisfaction. The job involved cutting through pavement, removing Tree Roots and debris while preparing the site for paving. It was discovered after excavating that there were two layers of pavement and the roots of the tree were much larger than first thought. With a trusting handshake, Kelsey kept his word and charged only the estimated cost. We also want to mention Preston’s relentless sweat and hard work in getting the job done.

We recently had a very successful renovation done by Kelsey / Pacific Group Developments. Through out the renovation Pacific Group Developments worked very closely with us to both help with the design and price out different options, we were given options to match our budgetary needs. This helped guarantee that our needs were met at all points of the renovation.

They kept us up to date with work status and continuous progress. When we had unexpected issues, we were notified right away and given alternatives as to how to resolve them.

I called Pacific Group about a buried oil tank as I had their information on file at Century 21 Queenswood Realty Victoria BC where I am an agent. I figured if I was going to refer them to my clients then I should know what I am talking about. The job was a bit tricky removing a buried oil tank underneath 50 years of tree roots and trying to minimize any damage to the existing trees. My husband wanted to ignore the buried tank issue so we tried to do the job as quickly and quietly as possible to reduce the stress on him. Kelsey was understanding and co-operative in that aspect. The work was done super fast and the site was left very tidy. Luckily we had no surprises with a leaky tank and now we can sell the house knowing it is safe for the buyers. I would recommend the crew to anyone needing their expertise.

It was a pleasure working with you and I can honestly say I have never met or worked with a contractor as fastidious and thoughtful as you were. Our meeting was somewhat by happenstance but proved a fortuitous encounter and I commend and will recommend your high quality work and honest dealings.
The job site was challenging and required a methodical approach and attention to detail so as to minimize damage to
surrounding landscaping and plant life. Given the depths of the trenching required I was delighted to learn of the results both during and after completion. The job was completed without interruption, on budget and the results were better than I had hoped. You and your crew were thoughtful, courteous and ethical throughout. The work was neat and thanks to the great care that was afforded, my landscaping remained intact.

"The crew from Pacific Group Developments were contracted to land clearing and level some rough terrain (containing some large stumps) and to build forms and pour a large concrete pad for the future site of a storage building. To my surprise, within 2 days of agreeing on the project, work started. The crew showed up exactly when we agreed, worked hard and got the job done over a period of 4 days. The best aspect was that I was involved through constant consultation. Kelsey and crew offered several creative solutions to some of the layout problems that I had and made several improvements to my original plan. At all points I was consulted and improvements suggested with the result that the job was done to the highest standards with no shortcuts. I appreciated this as the job could have been technically completed with much lower quality. It is thanks to Kelsey that he wanted to do the best job possible to ensure customer satisfaction and to create work that the crew was proud of. Throughout, a friendly and polite crew. The site cleanup was excellent, allowing me to appreciate the completed job without having to do more work!"

“Kelsey and the Pacific Group crew were hired to help with our new cob built house in Sooke BC with many experimental features focused on earth friendly building concepts, high effiecencies and solar / geo thermal components. They did our perimeter drainage system and filled our house foundation with 34 truck loads of road base  for our solar / geo thermal heating system and back filled and graded around the house. It was hot, gruelling, back-breaking work. But they did it with laughter and smiles on their faces, and even worked the weekend to get it done. The work was professional, as per the inspector’s expectation, at the agreed price, and ahead of schedule. Kelsey is an honest, dedicated and an innovative contractor, who does the job right. To be honest, I wish I'd never met Kelsey and Pacific Group Developments inc, but a road accident on the neighbouring street which caused a major break in our water supply meant we did. This situation caused our business to close due to major flooding and then no water during the repairs, therefore the time it took to repair was of the essence. Kelsey and his team worked quickly and cleanly (important for a public location) Kelsey was diligent in working with the authorities and insurance company, furthermore he kept me up to speed with his twice daily call. The job was done well!

As I said I wish I'd not met Pacific Group Developments inc, but given the major problem our company faced, I'm glad I did!

Stay Different...
 

We were one of the lucky ones upon finding a buried oil tank for 2 reasons.

1- There was no oil or leaks associated with the tank.

2- We connected with Pacific Group Developments.

The work was done efficiently, the job was looked at the day i first called them and the work was done in less than 2 weeks.After completion, the yard and fence etc. looked like it had never been touched except a small patch with no grass. Upon completion they brought the completed paper work to our house, not mailed or told stop by the office to pick them up. They had us look the papers over and be sure we understood and were satisfied with the info supplied to us.

The property was part of an estate sale and a real estate transaction  depended on the removal of the oil tank with the accompanying permits and proper certification. We highly recommend this company for oil tank removal and due to the quality of their work i am sure they are as competent at all their jobs. We will certainly use them again, but hopefully no more hidden oil tanks.

During the first serious rainstorm of the year, I discovered I had a major leak in the basement of the house that I had just purchased less than 3 months previously. Kelsey and his Pacific Group Developments Team were able to start work on my place very quickly, alleviating the water intrusion. He kept me informed every step of the way, explaining the process he was taking to repair my house, and why my house flooded in the first place. The amount of work that I witnessed him and his crew do over the next few weeks was nothing short of amazing. Even on the weekends and during some severe weather, there was someone digging, or waterproofing my foundation or removing wheelbarrow after wheelbarrow of heavy clay from my property. All his crew would take time out of their very busy day to walk me through what they were doing and why. I was extremely impressed with the quality of service, the quality of the workmanship and the time taken to explain everything to me. Kelsey and his professional crew were able to make a very trying time easier to deal with.

It is not often I feel compelled to sit down and write a letter of reference for a company, but Pacific Group Developments (Kelsey) has more than earned this. I am not writing this so much as to help them (which I am), but rather to help YOU the home or business owner to know you are choosing a company that will provide an all round quality service with confidence.

 I found not only Kelsey but his entire crew to be pleasant, hard working and considerate to the land and the home owner. Kelsey's response to questions/concerns be it verbally or electronically was fast, his price structure of the work done was good with an emphasis on very good value for the money. A couple of times Kelsey made suggestions on how we could do something better, which I agreed, and in hind site I am so very glad I did it was excellent advice. He has a lot of experience, listen to him...

A long story short, I had to have my long driveway widened, there were many aspects to this job from logging, stump removal, trucking and grading to rock breaking and removal. Part of the rock breaking did not go well at all (to no fault of the company), mother nature just did not cooperate at all. There was a point at which I felt that other companies only concerned about the bottom line would have packed up and left, Kelsey and his crew just went at it even harder.
