We offer a variety of ways to remove rock including breaking the rock, jack hammering the rock with air jack hammers or an excavator mounted hydraulic hammer, drilling the rock, using expansion composites to break the rock and blasting the rock with caps and water. We can remove rock without blasting with dynamite. Our rock removal services are specialized for hard to access areas including basements as well as beside or under foundations in Victoria BC. Many times we are called in to excavate rock from basements or drainage and utility passages.

We also offer rock scaling and removal as well as supporting and anchoring rocks deemed to be hazardous.

We also offer concrete breaking and removal. It is common for us to remove concrete sidewalks, concrete driveways, foundations, basement floors, footings, and other structures. We provide concrete cutting and coring with diamond saws and bits and are able to remove portions of concrete if needed. We have all of the equipment required to remove concrete with or without steel reinforcement. Both tight and concealed quarters and open full access areas are no problem.

Pacific Group Developments went above and beyond at every step of a large, lengthy and messy job involving new drain tiles, concrete retaining walls, concrete driveway, concrete sidewalks, landscaping, concrete removal, excavation and a new lawn that at no point seemed to want to go the way it should have due to weather.

Pacific Group Developments was contracted to replace my aging, collapsing, concrete driveway. There were some challenges to this project as it is a steeply sloped concrete driveway of about 1000 square feet, with a couple of interesting grades hat had to be managed for water run-off and to accommodate a Telus basin and water main. There were also challenges to overcome when we saw the condition of the prep work done for the previous concrete driveway. They gave me a clear estimate and assessment of what was required and noted explicitly what he thought we might run into that would change the initial cost. As the project unfolded they kept me informed of what they were finding and what they planned to do about it. They kept us involved appropriately along the way and invited me to monitor their work. Although we had to wait for the right weather to do the concrete pour and concrete finishing, it was worth it. The team of concrete finishers were excellent, and we could not be happier with our new concrete driveway. The concrete driveway has never looked better,all of the grade challenges were addressed, and the job was hassle free. Everything was cleaned, and aside from the new concrete driveway, you would never know they were here. The staff was excellent to work with. They were patient with my questions and happy to give us whatever information we needed to understand what was going on with the project. They may not be the biggest contractor in town, but they did a great job and I am happy to recommend them.

We hired Pacific Group Developments to decommission and remove a very large commercial fuel oil tank that was sitting above ground on our property. They did a first-rate job. Kelsey and his company are extremely professional, courteous, hard-working and knowledgeable. We appreciate being kept informed throughout the process. In addition, they offered to rip out and clear over an acre of broom with their excavator, which was already on our property for the tank removal. Most of the broom plants were taller than the excavator so we will be burning them for some time but we are thrilled to have this part of our property cleared of a very invasive plant.
